The US Federally Legalized Medical Marijuana in 2014
In December of last year the United States Congress passed a bill that would change legal medical marijuana status nation wide. What does this mean for medical dank? The bill states that the Justice Department will not be allowed to use funds that would keep states from passing their own laws to legalize medical marijuana. This keeps those medical marijuana shops who operate legally under state laws from being raided and controlled by the federal government, joy!

This is only a temporary solution because it only deals with one year of the funding after that it will need some more juice from Congress. The states that aren't listed will also have to have congress ad them to the list.
This gives those states Federal protection and keeps them legal in that capacity. There is no doubt that 2014 was an awesome year for dank weed smoking.
Although this does nothing for legalization of recreational marijuana it is still a part of the machine that is being used to push marijuana legalization in America. We are grease in the wheels and the oil is burning baby! We will have to see what 2015 has in store for medical weed and also what Native American leaders plan to do about their legalization protection.
Weed, best medicine ever.
