WHAT ARE DABS?
Welcome to the dab zone. The question on most peoples minds who aren't in the know is, "what are dabs" and the answer is pretty danky. Dabs is cannabis oil extracted through several different methods, usually using butane or c02. It goes by many different names - hash oil, dabs, wax, butter, shatter ect. The high is extremely intense and the taste is over all pleasant. The oil can be used for cooking, smoking, and many other useful applications. Although oil is no new thing the use of dabs has grown rapidly throughout the united states and continues to spread globally.
To smoke dabs you need a few tools, including a butane torch lighter, some kind of oil rig (dab bong) or a vapor pen capable of smoking waxy oil, and a pick or small screw driver/tool for dabbing the oil. You can get torches fairly cheep on amazon or at some department stores.
Dab bongs come in all shapes and sizes as well as prices. A quality piece of glass can go upwards of $1000 dollars. You can one as cheap as about $40 or more. The glass nails in the cheap ones tend to not last long. More expensive ones have titanium nails that go for almost a hundred bucks just for the nail.
Picks for dabbing are similar to dentist picks. You could even use a small technical screw driver or other type of tools. They sell tools online just for dabbing and if you look in a hardware store you might could even find something comparable.
